These are more topical discussion, study groups which are held at either the Connect Centre, at someones home or a local suitable venue in Mendip.
There are a mix of faith exploration groups and other helpful courses applicable to daily life such as Alpha, pre-marriage course, relationships course, christians against poverty money management course, leadership development, 24:7 prayer, worship central, freedom in christ, growing in confidence, grief and loss and so forth.
Not all the groups listed below happen in one term nor all on the same day but happen variably during different terms throughout the year.

COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY
So many people have no expectations for their lives but Christians are encouraged to have ‘Great Expectations.’ The letter of 1 Peter is full of practical advice and guidance about living a healthy and rich life here and now in the 21st Century.
David has over 40 years experience of church pastoring and Bible teaching. This group is a chance to learn, grow and discuss what it means to live a Christian life here and now.
MONDAYS, CONNECT CENTRE, WELLS, 7:30pm - 9pm
Every Wednesday after Connects Community Lunch there is an informal and friendly bible study open to all who wish to explore the Christian faith.
Coffee, cakes and a good chat with friends on a similar journey.

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE
Jan runs both the ESOL and English Literacy course groups on a weekly basis.
English as a second language is on Tuesday Mornings from 9am - 11am at Connect Centre, Wells.
English Literacy is on a Wednesday 11am - 12pm at Connect Centre, Wells.
