The Connect Centre is undergoing an extensive redevelopment due to be completed during 2012. The aim is to increase the existing floor space by approximately 40% to provide a wide range of multi-purpose rooms available for use by the local community.
Included in the plans are:
- Large conference room (capacity 200 seated)
- Counselling rooms
- ‘Hot’ offices (ideal for clinics and volunteer projects)
- Small and medium size meeting/conference rooms
- Dedicated user storage
- IT suite
Also:
- Full in-house catering
- The latest audio and AV equipment
- Art gallery (featuring local artists)
- One-stop-shop information point (signposting all statuary and non-statuary services)
