These are groups based around common interests and activities such as walking, board games, tennis, knitting, football, fitness, movie nights, creative arts, business, dance, baking, classic car restoration, hashing, DIY and so forth.
Not all the groups listed above happen all in one term nor all on the same day but invariably happen during different terms throughout the year.

Board Game Group

Matt Stoodley is running a board game life group at Connect Centre on Wednesday evenings. Games to feature such as:

If you have an interest in Gardening or just fancy lending a hand to make this stunning gardening project run, come and join us come rain or shine at the Dairy House Community Garden. Each session finishes with a community lunch with residents, volunteers and staff.

Beginngers Roller Skating: Shepton Mallet Leisure Centre
Saturdays 2:45pm - 3:45pm
Trying something new and something fun can be such a good decision. This group is for learners and beginners. The group will run on the following Saturdays
10th, 17th & 24th November and 1st December.
It’s £3 for adults and £2 for children. Participants book in for the full 4 weeks so we can cover costs correctly.
Abi runs “Shepton get your skates on”. This is a great way to learn a new skill, get the heart rate going slightly and step out your comfort zones in a safe and friendly environment.
Skates are provided.

Badminton Life group, Thursdays 7pm - 8pm at Blue School, Wells. £2per person each week.
It doesn’t matter if you're a world champion or have never played before this is a great group to play Badminton in a relaxed and friendly environment. A good opportunity to do some light exercise.

Ever wanted to play and make your own music in a group, come as a beginner or experienced musician and hang out and make amazing sounds with Stevie Pea at the Connect Centre.

Every Monday morning at Connect Centre, 9:30am - 11am there is a breakfast drop in open to all fully loaded with a ping pong table. Come along for a game of ping pong and some breakfast.

Every Wednesday 12pm - 2pm there is an open Art Drop in ran by Arik. It’s an opportunity to grow your inner Picasso (not the car) and simply get creative. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or a keen artist. Everyone is friendly and welcoming.
